VONFIDEL K9 is a professional dog training company with 17 years of experience in the field. They primarily work with the international working dog community and are regarded as the top choice for discerning dog owners in Sri Lanka. Specializing in obedience training, behavior modification, and protection training for all breeds of dogs, they have pioneered Sri Lanka's first Puppy Socialization & Basic Obedience training program. This innovative initiative challenged the prevailing belief that puppies must be at least six months old to undergo training. VONFIDEL K9 utilizes positive reinforcement as the foundation of their training methods, tailoring each program to address the unique needs of both dog and owner. Alfie Ameer is the founder of VONFIDEL K9, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. Before establishing this renowned dog training company, Alfie held distinguished positions such as Chief Technical Officer and Senior NOS Engineer at Danka Business Systems in St. Petersburg, FL. Additionally, he excelled as a Senior VPN Engineer for Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP in FL, a Lead Network Engineer/Solutions Consultant for KForce, and a Network Analyst for Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HARTline) in Florida. Complementing his impressive technological background, Alfie is an NRA-certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor and a retired commissioned officer in the Sri Lankan Army.
Alfie's pursuit of his passion for dog training led him to retire from his esteemed position as a CTO of a group of companies and establish VONFIDEL K9. As an alumnus of St. Petersburg University, Alfie's dedication and commitment to excellence have shaped VONFIDEL K9 into the trusted and highly-regarded signature dog training company we are today.
