Website and engagement terms

Terms of Service

These terms govern use of vonfidel.com and explain the boundary between general website information, existing VONFIDEL K9 agreements, and any selected specialist consultancy accepted in writing.

Last updated: 11 August 2026 K9 contracting party: Cognisive Operations Private Limited

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply when you use vonfidel.com, follow its contact routes, or communicate about VONFIDEL K9 work. By using the website, you agree to these website terms. A separate written agreement takes priority for the services and obligations it expressly covers.

VONFIDEL Ranch and COGNISIVE maintain separate websites, services, and terms. Following a link to either property does not make its activities part of these terms.

These terms do not open a general dog-training programme, create a standing offer, or replace an existing signed agreement.

2. VONFIDEL K9 brand and contracting party

VONFIDEL K9 is the operating brand used for the K9 practice and professional record. Cognisive Operations Private Limited is the legal service provider and contracting party for new VONFIDEL K9 engagements accepted after the date of these terms, unless a written agreement expressly identifies another party.

References to “VONFIDEL K9”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in relation to a new K9 service engagement refer to Cognisive Operations Private Limited trading through the VONFIDEL K9 brand. Institutional references to VONFIDEL describe the website and brand architecture and do not, by themselves, create a separate contract.

3. Website information

The website provides institutional information, historical and professional K9 material, operating-status information, and selected consultancy context. It is not a veterinary diagnosis, legal advice, a guaranteed training prescription, a security instruction, or a promise of any particular outcome.

Older service pages document established methods and programme history. Current availability is governed by the K9 status page and written acceptance; historical pages are not open offers.

4. Enquiries, suitability, and written acceptance

Submitting a contact form, email, message, referral, document, or other inquiry does not create a contract, reserve availability, confirm a fee, establish a professional duty, or guarantee acceptance.

New general dog-training intake has concluded. Existing clients may use the continuity route for matters covered by an active obligation or agreed follow-up. Selected specialist consultancy is considered only where its scope, suitability, welfare implications, safety, competence requirements, availability, and professional responsibility can be assessed.

No new engagement exists unless Cognisive Operations Private Limited issues or accepts a written scope, proposal, engagement letter, or other written agreement identifying the work and the applicable commercial terms.

5. Existing VONFIDEL K9 agreements

An agreement entered into before 11 August 2026 remains governed by its own identified parties, scope, obligations, fees, cancellation terms, and governing provisions. Nothing on this website retroactively transfers, expands, limits, or replaces an existing signed agreement.

If these website terms and an existing written agreement address the same service issue differently, the existing written agreement governs that issue unless the parties later agree otherwise in writing.

6. Selected specialist consultancy

Selected consultancy may include assessment, programme or capability review, working-dog or handler considerations, operating standards, risk and welfare review, or other canine matters that can be responsibly defined. It does not reopen general dog-training intake or standalone boarding. The precise deliverables, exclusions, reliance limits, participants, timing, fees, expenses, confidentiality, and use of work product must be stated in the written engagement.

Advice is based on the information, access, conditions, and professional scope available at the time. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate material, disclosing known incidents or constraints, and obtaining veterinary, legal, regulatory, or other specialist advice when the matter falls outside the agreed K9 scope.

Standalone boarding and new general training programmes are not offered through the website. Any continuity arrangement connected to an existing agreement is governed by that agreement and a fresh welfare and operational assessment. Historical training, protection, boarding, or detection pages do not constitute an offer of those operational services.

7. Safety, welfare, and responsible disclosure

Clients and prospective clients must disclose information reasonably relevant to safe and responsible work, including known medical conditions, medication, injuries, vaccination status, behavioural history, bite or conflict incidents, escape risk, handling restrictions, legal requirements, and material changes in circumstances.

Work may be declined, paused, modified, or ended where information is incomplete, instructions are not followed, conditions are unsafe, welfare is compromised, the required competence or resources are unavailable, or the matter exceeds the accepted scope. This does not remove obligations already accrued under a written agreement.

8. Fees, payment, scheduling, and cancellation

The website does not state or collect a universal K9 service price. Fees, taxes, deposits, expenses, payment dates, scheduling conditions, rescheduling, cancellation, withdrawal, refunds, and any continuing charges must be set out before a new engagement is confirmed.

Where a written agreement contains those commercial terms, that agreement governs. Do not make a payment solely because of information on a historical page or an unsolicited request that cannot be verified through the official contact details on this website.

9. Intellectual property and permitted use

Website copy, original photography, video, graphics, marks, methods, documents, and other material are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may view and retain reasonable copies for personal reference or an accepted engagement. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, systematically scrape, misrepresent, remove attribution from, or exploit protected material without permission or another lawful basis.

VONFIDEL K9, The Fidelity Method, and associated identifiers must not be used in a way that implies approval, certification, partnership, employment, or authority that has not been granted in writing.

10. Privacy, confidentiality, and media

Personal data submitted through vonfidel.com is handled under the Privacy Policy. Do not send unnecessary sensitive, confidential, security-sensitive, or third-party personal information through the general contact form.

Client information, operational material, photographs, video, testimonials, or case details will not be treated as approved for public use merely because they were shared during an inquiry or engagement. Any publication or identifiable case use must have an appropriate permission or other lawful basis and remain subject to safety, welfare, confidentiality, and the written agreement.

11. Third-party websites and services

The website may link to VONFIDEL Ranch, COGNISIVE, maps, analytics providers, video platforms, social networks, messaging or email services, payment providers, professional resources, and other third parties. Separate services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

A link is provided for context or convenience and does not, without an express statement, amount to endorsement, control, partnership, or responsibility for the third party's content or conduct.

12. Responsibility, warranties, and liability

We use reasonable care in maintaining website information, but do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, universal suitability, or that historical material remains current in every detail. Nothing in these terms excludes a right, duty, warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to those mandatory rights, neither the website nor general communications create a guarantee of behaviour, performance, safety, commercial outcome, or fitness for an undisclosed purpose. Responsibility for an accepted service is governed by the written scope, the information disclosed, the client's own duties, and applicable law.

13. Governing law, concerns, and disputes

These website terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. A service agreement may include its own lawful dispute-resolution process and forum, which will govern that engagement.

If a concern arises, contact us first with enough information to identify the matter and the resolution sought. This informal step does not remove any statutory right, mandatory consumer remedy, or right to approach a competent authority or court.

14. Updates and severability

We may update these website terms to reflect legal, operational, service, or technical changes. The revised version applies from the date stated on this page and does not retrospectively rewrite an existing agreement.

If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it should be read down or severed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue to apply.

15. Questions about these terms

Use the institutional contact route for a question about website use, an existing VONFIDEL K9 agreement, or a selected specialist matter.
